Description
Richmond Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) program, trains citizens to provide localized emergency response until professionals arrive. Volunteers are trained by emergency management, fire, police, and other professionals. After completing training volunteers are equipped to provide emergency assistance to family and neighbors with issues resulting from accidents or disasters that impact their neighborhoods. Emergency and preparedness skills are reinforced through skill exercises and web-based learning.
